Independent Athletics 2012

Primary Independent District Carnival is on Thursday 2nd August at SC uni

Secondary Independent District Carnival is on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th August at SC uni

Primary Regional carnival date is Tuesday 4th September 2012 at SC Uni.

Secondary Regional carnival date is Mon 10th September (2pm -4pm) and Tuesday 11th September 2012 at SC Uni.

Secondary Athletics 2011

Congratulations to all Athletes who competed across the the two day Carnival. There were some wonderful individual performances with many record broken. Matthew Flinders won the overall trophy with Nambour Christian College in second and St Andrew's Anglican College finishing 3rd.

Primary Athletics 2011 ( 9 years to 12 years)

Congratulations to all competitors at the Independent District Primary carnival on Thursday 2nd June. It was a wonderful day with many outstanding individual performances. St. Andrew's Anglican College retained the overall trophy with Sunshine Coast Grammar in 2nd and Matthew Flinders in 3rd. Caloundra Christian College won the percentage trophy. Best wishes to all selected District team members at the Regional carnival on Thurs 21st July.

Secondary Athletics 2010 [13 to 18 years]- 13 & 18 August

Congratulations to all athletes on two great days of competition on Friday 13th. and Wednesday 18th. There were some outstanding performances. The development of Athletics within the SCISSA schools is clearly showing. Congratulations to Nambour Christian College who sealed their first SCISSA Athletics win with Matthew Flinders Anglican College in 2nd and St. Andrew's Anglican College in 3rd. Best wishes to all selected students who have qualified for the Sunshine Coast Secondary Regional Carnival to be held on the 3rd and 7th September.

Primary Athletics 2010 [9 years to 12 years] - Thursday 5th August

Congratulations to all competing schools at the recent SCISSA Athletics Carnival held at Sunshine Coast University on Thursday 5th August. Once again the standard of competition was very high and this year 20 new records were set out of 56 events. Congratulations to St. Andrew's Anglican College who won the overall event with Matthew Flinders in 2nd and Nambour Christian College in 3rd. Congratulations also to Caloundra Christian College who won the percentage trophy. Best wishes to all selected SCISSA students who will compete at the Regional carnival on the 1st September.

Primary Athletics 2009 [9 years to 12 years] - Thursday 30th July

Congratulations to all schools on a great day of Athletics events. There was a real feeling that the standard of competition was extremely high, with many records broken. Congratulations to St. Andrew's Anglican College who won the overall trophy, with Matthew Flinders Anglican College in 2nd and Sunshine Coast Grammar School  in 3rd. Congratulations to the winners of the percentage trophy who were Pacific Lutheran College. Best wishes to all Independent students at the Sunshine Coast Regional Carnival on Thursday September 3rd at Sunshine Coast University.

Secondary Athletics (13-19 yrs July 31st and Aug 7th)

Congratulations to all athletes and schools on 2 wonderful days of Athletics. The high standard was terrific. Congratulations to Matthew Flinders Anglican College who won overall, with Nambour Christian College in 2nd and St. Andrew's Anglican College in 3rd.
